Day 1: Yangon
Upon your arrival in Yangon, welcome by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Take a rest for few hours.
Then the guide and driver will pick you up and take you to the local restaurant for your lunch. Then enjoy private tour and drive through downtown to explore the city centre and its fabulous mix of architecture and sites. The streets are filled with historical buildings many of which have a faded colonial charm not seen elsewhere in Asia. You’ll start at the post office – a lovely historic building, passing by Strand Hotel, Mahabandoola Garden and Independence Monument along the way. Nothing will prepare you for Shwedagon Pagoda, with its glittering gold stupa. At the pagoda observe local pilgrims and monks offering their devotions and enjoy the amazing sunset view at Shwedagon pagoda.
Day 2: Yangon – Heho – Pindaya – Aythaya Vineyard (http://www.myanmar-vineyard.com/) – Inle Lake
After breakfast, fly to Heho, gateway to Inle Lake with late morning flight.
Drive to Pindaya Cave, containing thousands of Buddha images and exploring the huge meandering maze made up of numerous caves. Visit Sin Khaung monastery which is built by wood, traditional Shan style and 200 years old. There are old bamboo weaving Buddha images and bronze statues inside the monastery. Then visit the villages in which the main businesses of the local people are the bamboo hat making, pottery and handicrafts making, umbrella and shan paper making. Then proceed to Aythaya Vineyard located in Taunggyi which is the first vineyard estate in Myanmar. Enjoy sunset at the Sunset Wine Garden and have dinner before heading to your hotel in Inle Lake by car.
Day 3: Inle Lake – Red Mountain Vineyard (http://www.redmountain-estate.com)
Enjoy the full day tour by private boat in Inle lake. Visit the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most holy religious site in southern Shan State. Visiting Inle Lake is not just about being on the water but also about discovering the Shan and Intha villages on the banks of the river. Pass the endless floating gardens, houses, monasteries built on stilts on the lake. Proceed to Nampan village and see local cheroot factory (where the Burmese cigars are made) and canoe carving. In the afternoon proceed to your Red Mountain Estate Vineyards and Winery visit in Nyaung Shwe. Enjoy your sunset at the Red Mountain and then transfer back to your hotel. Dinner at your hotel.
Day 4: Inle Trekking,
Pick up at the Nyung Shwe or Inle Lake Hotel. Drive to trekking point in Nyung Shwe (about 10 minutes. Start the 5 hour trek from there -walking through small ranges with tea-leaf and cheroot-leaf and coffee plantations - walking from village to village through spectacular highland scenery, you’ll be presented with stunning views and exceptional cultural encounters.
After 2 & 1/2 hours you will approach to Khong Soin village. You will have lunch at village school – cooked by our guide. There are about 100 students and you will have opportunity to meet with them. From the school, you will see the whole area of beautiful Inle Lake.
After lunch continue trekking and passing through Danu and Taung Yoe Tribal Villages and to learn and experience of Intha culture and the way of their daily life. In the midafternoon stop at one of the monastery to take a rest for a while, have snack and green tea. In the late after you will reach to Maing Thouk village. From there we will transfer you back to your hotel. (*If your hotel is near Maing Thouk Village – we can arrange canoe boat for transfer – there will be additional small charge but its great experience)

Day 5: Inle Lake – Indein
Begin your day with a visit to the market, which rotates locations every five days and where hill tribe people dressed in colorful, traditional outfits — as they barter for goods and produce. We continue our sightseeing in Inle Lake, maneuvering by boat though long, scenic channels. We will visit the fascinating village of Indein, with its complex of ancient shrines and stupas and walk though exotic colonnades of stairways and shop stalls. We’ll visit the “long neck” tribal women, and weaving and craft villages perched on stilts. See the lake’s unique “leg rowers” – the Intha people row standing up with one leg wrapped around an oar. It is a feast for the senses and a photographer’s dream.
Day 6: Inle Lake – Heho – Yangon
Late morning flight back to Yangon. Enjoy a visit to Scott Market, the sprawling 75-year-old Market. At the market you will find a whole variety of interesting Burmese souvenirs, from lacquer ware to gems & jewelry – bargain at the stores to fully experience the Burmese market atmosphere! Then transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit various religious sites such as the St Mary's Cathedral, built in 1899, and the Buddhist landmarks of Sule Paya and over 100 year old beautiful Rangoon Synagogue. In there you will have the opportunity to meet with Trustee of the Synagogue to learn the Jewish Life in the Pagoda Land. Then visit Little India and Chinatown – stop to greet the vendors and let them introduce you to their wares – some familiar, some exotic.
Day 7: Yangon – Departure
After breakfast, day at leisure until transfer to airport for International departure flight.
